On the 11th of February 2021, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, the EAPI staff and community gathered for the blessing of a brand new garden. The garden was lovingly designed and constructed by Fr. Khoan Pham SJ for the Marian statue that all past EAPI participants are familiar with.

Fr. Tony Moreno SJ, President of the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific, led the ceremony, while Fr. Khoan Pham SJ explained the significance of his design. Afterwards, we were all ushered into the dining room to feast on Chicken Joy delivered from Jollibee, while Fr. Khoan, being the oldest in the community, distributed “lucky money” in celebration of the lunar new year.
