ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL)
Master in Pastoral Leadership & Management (MPLM)
EAPI partners with Loyola School of Theology (LST) in offering two academic degree programs that directly derive from the EAPI residential program, Pastoral Leadership and Management for Mission (PLMM).
Both the Master in Pastoral Leadership and Management (MPLM) and the Licentiate in Sacred Theology (STL) in Spirituality and Leadership aim to effect transformational change in pastoral leaders, in perspectives and behavior, through learning about the spirituality, theology, theory and practices of pastoral leadership and management skills towards a more discerning and participatory ministry in parishes and Church communities. The MPLM is a civil degree granted by the Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU), while the STL is an ecclesiastical degree granted by LST. A student may take only one degree program or both degree programs simultaneously.
At the heart of both degree programs is the residential (live-in) program, PLMM, whose various intensive modules form the foundation of the concentration and professional courses of the degree programs. Application and payment of fees for the residential program PLMM are done at EAPI; whereas application and payment of fees for the academic degree programs MPLM and STL are done at LST.
Check out the LST website for details on requirements for admission, course work, languages, and research for each degree program.
